Job Description

Fine dining restaurant in downtown boutique hotel is hiring a floor/banquet supervisor. Our ideal candidate will possess a positive and motivational presence with a passion for hospitality. This position is for an active supervisor managing the dining room and all banquets booked for the dining room while working with the bar supervisor and the kitchen to execute a flawless dining experience. We want a team player, someone who can lead by example and exude professionalism.

•Minimum 2 years recent fine-dining lead server or fine-dining and banquet supervisory experience
•Dedication to creating the perfect guest experience
•Motivational leader and trainer for all aspects of staff service and guest interaction
•Professional in appearance and demeanor
•Excellent written and oral communicator
•Proficiency with restaurant POS systems, OpenTable, MS Word, Excel and Publisher
•In depth knowledge of fine food, wine, craft cocktails and general restaurant operations
•Personal integrity, accountability and a “lead by example” attitude
•Open availability (including late nights, holidays and weekends)
•Long hours, many spent standing, sometimes required

Benefits include medical and vision with the option for dental. These benefits are available after 90 days once all preliminary requirements are met. This is a fulltime hourly position. Compensation is based on experience.
