Experienced in managing a restaurant or food business?

The Portland Mercado is slated for opening sometime in late 2014, but Hacienda wishes to engage the Manager in advance of the opening date to guide critical processes, including final selection of Mercado tenants, finalization of the lease terms for those tenants, implementation of a marketing campaign, and ongoing fund development. The Portland Mercado Manager will play an important role in three phases of the Mercado’s development: the pre-opening phase, which we anticipate lasting approximately from April-October 2014, and then a launch and opening phase from November 2014-January 2015, and then an operational phase beginning in February 2015. The duties of the Portland Mercado Market Manager will change over each of these phases, but the skill set needed for each phase overlap heavily.
