Line cook with emphasis on Pizza
We’re currently seeking a line cook with pizza experience to produce Neapolitan style pies during dinner service. Responsibilities include preparation, service, and clean up. The pizza cook also works the fryer and helps saute out quite a bit.
The job is Tuesday through Saturday, from 2:30 or 3:30 to close most days. Pay starts at $11/hr plus tips.
We specialize in scratch-made Italian inspired Northwest cuisine. We source local, seasonal and wildcrafted produce to create unique offerings with a nod to the traditions of Italian cookery.
Position requires adaptability to ever changing seasonal menu, a desire to work within a team, exhibit a positive attitude, and a willingness to follow direction and utilize feedback.
Two years experience in the food preparation field in a restaurant. Knowledge of food preparation methods and operations of kitchen equipment and materials used in food prep work. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and the general public and to perform duties in a clean and professional manner.
Work is performed in the kitchen area with exposure to heat, cold, fumes, and steam; utilizes food prep kitchen utensils daily; lifts at least 50 lbs. Prolonged standing and walking is required.
