Andina Restaurant, located in the heart of The Pearl District, seeks an enthusiastic and experienced full-time pastry cook. The successful candidate must have have the creativity, passion, personal organization,temperament, speed, efficiency and professionalism to thrive in an extremely busy, award-winning kitchen. Responsibilities include production and plating of fine dining desserts. We need someone with practical hands-on experience in these areas, preferably in a hi-volume environment. We are a Peruvian restaurant so experience with Peruvian desserts would be an obvious advantage and the ability to communicate well in Spanish is not mandatory but it would certainly be considered a benefit. This is an hourly position, five days a week, but we do need a good degree of flexibility as extra hours/days are required on occasion.
