Simpatica Dining Hall and Catering is seeking a seasonal office assistant with the potential for front of the house shifts as well. We are looking to add a person to our Saturday summer team who is customer service-focused, attentive to detail, and able to multi-talk in a busy work environment. Ideally, this person would have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in an office setting as well as front of the house experience as a server, bartender, shift leader, or manager. We need someone to answer phone and email inquiries and someone who can speak knowledgeably about our businesses and services. Candidates should also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a current and clean driver’s license.
Saturdays throughout the summer, starting right away, are a must, as catering is a seasonal business. There is potential to transition more to a catering, dining hall, and brunch server once the season slows in the fall. This is a part-time position, most likely 6-10 hours on Saturdays to start. The pay is $12 per hour, though there is the potential to pick up serving shifts as well for additional wages. Training in June may be on days in addition to Saturdays in order to ensure you are trained by the end of the month.
