Line Cook (Part-Time Seasonal)
Do you have passion for Belgian beer and the craft beer movement? Have you worked in a gastro pub environment with a European cuisine focus? Do you have 2-5 years minimum industry experience? If you answered yes to all of the above, then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for a part-time seasonal line cook to work the Sunday shift (3-11 PM) plus special events (all away soccer matches, Women’s World Cup, Hawthorne Street Fair, etc). If you are interested in working for one of Portland’s top beer bars in a fast-paced atmosphere with little supervision then we’re the appropriate environment for you.
Operational experience in gastro pub cuisine with a Euro spin (sautee, grilling, frying), inventory management, prepping, and a passion for customer service a plus. This position will work 8-15 hours per week. Position follows the Timbers/Thorns schedule and will end with that season (around October) with the possibility to extend through December. This is also your way in the door should any other position open up down the road for advancement. Please only apply if you can commit to working the entire soccer season.
Pay: $11/hour + tips.
