Line Cook – Mid Shift

River’s Edge Hotel & Spa, a luxury boutique hotel in Portland, is seeking qualified candidates to join our interactive team in the position of mid-shift Line Cook at our Aquariva Restaurant. Applicant must be able to work flexible hours and weekends, should possess an outgoing personality and have a guest focused service orientation. Must be able to multi-task with speed and efficiency.
Responsible for preparing all food items based on standardized recipes for the Restaurant, Room Service and Banquet Department, while complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards. Will follow established food production programs and procedures to produce an exceptionally appealing and appetizing product for our guests.
•Have excellent knife skills
•Be able to work a flexible schedule working any 5 of the 7 days in the work week
•Have the ability to follow detailed recipes maintaining quality and consistency in taste and presentation
•Be able to follow directions
•Be able to multi-task while staying on track in a fast paced work environment
•Have 1 to 3 years prior experience as a line cook
•Be a valuable and contributing team member
