Head Line Cook/Assistant Kitchen Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a strong leader for our small kitchen at an established bar in downtown Portland to start ASAP.
Flexible hours, 30-40/week. Business hours are 10am-2:30am.
Pay starts at $11/hour + at least $2/ hour in tips
Our kitchen is low-volume (13k/mo), so you’ll work primarily alone, handling downtime productively, with scattered rushes keeping you on your toes. Fare is American pub grub and breakfast.
Duties will include assisting the manager in scheduling, ordering, pricing, recipe development, and most importantly raising and maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
Age 21+
Leadership skills
2 years line cooking
Impeccable hygiene
Short ticket times
Enthusiasm
Reliable transportation
