Experienced Fine Dining Banquet Servers Needed


Job Description

We are searching for experienced fine-dining and upscale Event Banquet Servers who are responsible, and have extreme attention to detail for our busy, discerning clients. We work weekly in Hotels, Catering Venues and Private Clubs in and around the Portland metro area and Vancouver, WA. These positions are temporary and part-time and are perfect as a second income, or to earn extra money to supplement your current job; or pick up hours while in school, or while you are searching for more permanent work. We have varying weekly temporary and on-call hospitality assignments and positions.

We do not have any full-time or permanent positions at this time.

This is a fast-paced job that requires a fine service background. These are not entry-level server jobs. All candidates must be able to confidently hit the floor running and be comfortable, and on-task, and ready for gigs any banquet, event, or wedding venue in Portland.

We are in search of friendly, naturally organized, individuals who can move with a sense of urgency, and composure when it is busy. Fine table service, upscale restaurant, wedding, banquet serving, or high-end catering background is a prerequisite.

Absolutely must be physically fit, and have the experience and ability to comfortably carry large oval trays with ten covered entrees weighing up to 47 lbs. on a regular basis. You must be able to move with a large, loaded tray through tight tables and room settings.

Professional, energetic individuals, who can take direction, move and complete multiple tasks quickly, while maintaining an upbeat, confident, guest-focused attitude are what we are in need of- as we work in some of Portland’s most exclusive clubs and event venues. Skilled servers who are flexible and willing to learn new skills are urged to apply.

To be considered for these positions:
You must be able to concisely and effectively read and communicate in English.

Having a working familiarity with the proper sequence and standards of dining service is also essential. You will be tested.

All employees will need to obtain an updated / valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handler card within the first two weeks of getting hired if you do not currently have them.

We also need servers with Washington valid permits (MAST liquor service and WA or Clark county food Server Cards).

Those with reliable transportation will be given first priority this month for these jobs.

We are a very busy temporary Hospitality company – we have morning, afternoon, and evening shifts during the week available -especially on Saturdays and Sundays.

No visible tattoos, facial, or tongue studs, or visible body piercing.

We interview daily in our office near Tualatin /Lake Oswego /Durham ( Bridgeport Village area ).

Part-time and temporary hours.

Bar tending experience a real plus, with possible (more lucrative ) bar shifts from time to time. Bartenders must be able and willing to serve -as the majority of our work is banquet event table service.
