Job Description

Qualified culinary experience with a strong knowledge base with regional and ethnic cuisine. Directly relate to customers, clients and staff while providing superior customer service. Work within set pars, track catering and café needs and adjust levels according to business needs. Meet all sanitary expectations within health department standards and Bon Appetit. Strong understanding proper food rotation, safe food production and document accordingly. Adhere to all requirements of Bon Appetit’s food safety, employee safety, service expectations and facility requirements. Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
• Prepare all deli meats and cheese based on catering, café and kitchen needs
• From scratch preparation of daily seasonal offering and daily composed seasonal salad based on provided prep numbers
• Maintain and document all food holding temps and ensure safety
• Responsible for maintain recycling program, kitchens daily cleaning and garbage
• Meet daily and weekly cleaning sanitation expectations and document
• Drive creative food preparation will meeting customer’s needs and expectations
• Engage all customers in a friendly manner, while addressing all concerns or questions timely and effectively.
