COOKS (Full Time/Part-time/On call)

Selected applicants will be required to have open availability and be willing to work a variety of shifts and days including mornings, nights and weekends.
Catering Cook Requirements :
Catering cook should have a minimum of 2 years industry experience
Supervisory experience at Catered Events required.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualities:
• Demonstrated proficiency in all basic cooking methods – Fry, Grill, Saute, Braise, Roast etc
• Well developed knife skills and a sense of urgency
• Able to use all standard commercial cooking equipment
• Familiarity with basic sauces
• Understanding of catering kitchen operations
• Have a flexible work schedule and must be able to work a variety of shifts and days including weekends and evenings
• Able to work long periods of time on feet
• Comfortable in a high energy environment
• Able to communicate effectively and follow directions both verbal and written
• Be a self starter and able to work with little supervision in some cases
• Must have a professional and friendly appearance and demeanor
• Individuals must work well in a team atmosphere
