Cook/Kitchen Manager. Evenings & weekends. 25-30 hrs/week
Cyril’s is a 45 seat Progressive American restaurant that is part of Clay Pigeon Winery in Portland’s Central Eastside Industrial neighborhood. Our back patio expands our seating to 80 during the summer months.
We are looking for an organized and skilled cook to round out our kitchen team.
Order, receive and inventory ingredients
Prep for service
Work the line during service
Assist with menu development
Ensure compliance with food code and proper sanitation practices
Experience ordering/managing inventory
Experience working a variety of kitchen stations
Interest in seasonal cooking a must
Familiarity with local purveyors a huge plus
Food handlers card at a minimum, ServSafe certification even better
We are a lean kitchen staff, we work in an open kitchen, this means we’re looking for professional appearance and solid communication skills.
