Barista / Barback

Public Domain Coffee is the only retail storefront of Coffee Bean International (CBI), one of the Pacific Northwest’s oldest and biggest behind-the-scenes specialty coffee roasters. Until 2010, CBI sourced, roasted, and packaged coffee for their customers and bided their time. In April of 2010, CBI opened Public Domain Coffee in downtown Portland with the intention of showcasing their 40 years of experience and accumulated knowledge. Public Domain provides a creative outlet for the exciting possibilities that coffee buyers and baristas dream of every day, and we are looking to add another member to our coffee dream team.
Public Domain’s crew provides the downtown Portland area with consistently excellent extractions of staff-designed blends and staff-selected single origins. PD staff members freely share their knowledge and opinions about everything coffee with the public, and push each other to do everything better than the last time.
