Assistant GM/Dining Room Manager

Busy, independently and locally owned restaurant is seeking a dynamic, charismatic floor manager to lead our staff and ensure that our guests are warmly welcomed and have a great experience dining with us. This is a great opportunity to join the management team of a talented, established and highly regarded local restaurant.
Applicants must have:
Ability to lead and motivate your team
Desire and ability to develop a sincere, warm rapport with our guests
High-energy, guest-focused approach to floor management
Experience hosting and managing a dining room
Experience in general business management
Ability to work quickly and effectively in a busy dining room
Experience managing others in regard to scheduling, educating, training
Ability to orchestrate labor effectively during service to the benefit of our guests
Prior experience serving, bartending, hosting
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience successfully managing or assistant managing medium to high-volume, polished, full service restaurants. Ideal candidates should have an upbeat and energetic personality and be able to work as part of a management team. Bar management experience including server education is a plus as well as former back of house experience.
